Events Diary

A visit to JP Park and Cubbon Park

We plan two outings for every academic year. One outing is during the first term and the second outing is during the 2nd term. The objective behind these outings is to breakĀ  the monotony of the daily schedule and giving children an opportunity to explore new environment which either enables a new learning or reinforces the learnt matter.

SWIMMIMG SESSION

At EYC-DC, a 40 minutes swimming session once a week is a must. The children are assisited by the trained coaches at JHS, Kempapura. Children do benefit a lot from this session as it is not only fun-filled but also equips them with basic swimming skills.

Constructive Games

EYC-DC has lined up constructive games for the children on daily basis for half an hour. These games help in body-mind co-ordination. Apart from games, Agility ladder is used to help children in developing good foot work which is a necessity for most sports.

i-Math

i-Math is a creative and practical approach to understanding the basic concepts in mathematics. We at EYC-DC introduced i-Math classes after school hours not only to our centre students but also opened doors to children from different institutions. This programme has been received by parents with lot of enthusiasm and looking at the overwhelming response to i-Math programme we have decided to integrate it with our regular curriculam for the coming academic year. We would continue to offer this programme to students from other institutions after school hours.

Digital techonology

We at EYC-DC have upgraded our centre with the introduction of digital board in our classroom, which is used to reinforce learning.

My Art Room

EYC-DC created enough room for igniting the creativity and fueling the imagination of our young natural artists, where every child gets an opportunity to unleash his/her aesthetic seen.
